On March 17, the new Knight Hall and Bauer Hall will be open for business! To celebrate the first day of classes in the new buildings, we’re having an all-day Housewarming Party starting with coffee and donuts in the morning, green cupcakes and refreshments in the afternoon, and a few surprises throughout the day to welcome the Olin community to our expanded home.

Olin is doubling its footprint on the Danforth Campus with this expansion project. Our community will share four buildings to pursue our passions for teaching, learning, and research. We will have new spaces to collaborate, innovate, celebrate, and bring us together as members of one united Olin.

Renovations of Simon Hall will begin this summer and create a spacious new home for the Undergraduate Programs office, lounge, student clubs, and activities.  All programs will continue to have classes in Simon Hall, as well as in the new buildings. These expanded facilities are a much-needed necessity and welcome gift from generous benefactors.

I am looking forward to showing you the new classrooms, study rooms, and innovative spaces. In the meantime, enjoy this Sneak Preview video with your guides: Harry Bolson, BSBA ’14, Katy Robbins, SMP ’14, Geoffry Nykin, MBA ’15.

Find out how to book a room or cater an event on the new General Services section of CampusGroups. If you can’t find answers there, send questions to: 4Buildings@olin.wustl.edu.

Check the blog, Facebook, and Twitter for more videos and updates in the coming days and weeks.

Have a safe and restful spring break!

Get a sneak peek inside Olin’s two new towers that anchor the business school’s expansion project. The north tower will welcome visitors from Throop Drive to the new Knight Hall and the south tower rises above Mudd Field between the entrance to Bauer Hall and the new Atrium.
