More than 24 Olin alumni and current students interning in the Bay Area enjoyed lively conversation and dinner at Schroeder’s in San Francisco hosted by Mark Brostoff, associate dean and director Weston Career Center and Emily Mahon, Olin alumni and development office.

Over the course of Thurtene weekend, the Wash U. chapter of Delta Sigma Pi was proud to welcome back its alumni to campus with two exciting events sponsored by the Weston Career Center.

On Friday, the chapter hosted a social in the Knight Center, where alums were shown a video montage of pictures from their time at Wash U.

On Saturday, the chapter held its annual Alumni Barbeque, complete with catering from local favorite Pappy’s Smokehouse. Alumni were happy to connect with old friends as well as meet some of the chapter’s newest members. With alumni weekend now having come to a close, Delta Sigma Pi was thrilled to have helped welcome over 35 alumni back to campus and hope they enjoyed the reunion activities.

On Wednesday, November 12th, Olin Dean Mahendra Gupta and Mark Brostoff, associate dean and director Weston Career Center welcomed Citi representatives Jane Fraser, Chief Executive Officer, U.S. Consumer & Commercial Banking, Vikram Jaipuria, Managing Director – Head of CitiMortgage Holdings, and Sheri Paulo, Managing Director, Senior Human Resources Officer to the Citi Opportunity Center located in the Weston Career Center. Thanks to Citi’s support of our beautiful new space!




Olin Business School and the Human Rights Campaign — the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans — hosted an LGBT Workplace Inclusion Conference at Washington University in St. Louis on Thursday, August 14th, 2014.

More than 50 attendees representing local firms, educational institutions, including WUSTL staff, faculty and students participated in the interactive session.   The conference focused on sharing best practices for making businesses and organizations fully inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.

HRC LogoBeck Bailey, Human Rights Campaign Deputy Director of the Employee Engagement Workplace Equality Program discussed how organizations can gain a competitive advantage and improve their score on the HRC Corporate Equality Index, published annually by HRC.

Discussions on how to build a framework for equality, non-discrimination policies, equitable benefits and public engagement were also shared with the audience. The second half of the conference focused on how to build a transgender inclusive workplace, including an understanding of the individual transition process, implications for business, and best practices to secure transgender healthcare coverage.
