Friends, family, faculty, students, and staff gathered to pay tribute to Dean Gupta April 29 and celebrate his decade as Olin’s leader. Chancellor Mark Wrighton and Provost Holden Thorp hosted the reception in the Frick Forum and Emerson Auditorium.
Many members of the Olin National Council were in attendance following their spring meeting held earlier in the day. The Provost reported that the search committee for a new Olin dean is on schedule and interviewing final candidates. A new dean is expected to be in place by July 1. Dean Gupta will return to teaching as the Geraldine J. and Robert L. Virgil Professor of Accounting and Management.
