Simon Hall is under siege again this summer as construction crews surround the building from the top of the tower to the basement. Phase II of major renovations is underway with projects that include building six new classrooms, beautifying the tower, and creating a new entrance on the south side of the building.

Work on the roof of Simon Hall resumes next week and it might look like the sky is falling in the central courtyard as the tiles, shingles, and nails start to fly. Roof repairs and replacement will require closing the courtyard for the next two months for safety reasons.
Simon Hall roof work will commence June 2, 2014. The courtyard doors will be locked until completion of the project, expected by August 1, 2014. This is the second phase of a multi-year replacement project for the roof at Simon Hall. Last year the section over the library was completed.
