Executive education nondegree programs at Olin Business School leapt into the top 10 bracket of U.S. schools ranked by the Financial Times released May 11, 2014. For Open Enrollment programs, Olin ranked #9 nationally and #17 internationally, while for Customized programs, Olin’s rank was #10 nationally and #24 internationally. Both rankings are sizable increases for Olin.

Olin offers a wide range of Open Enrollment and Customized courses for executives on its Washington University in St. Louis campus and through its partnership with the Brookings Institution where it manages Brookings Executive Education in Washington, D.C.

Olin’s jump in the rankings was powered by positive feedback from both client companies and participants who often report that executive education courses are a life- or career-changing experience. For more information on executive education courses offered by Olin Business School, click here.

According to the Financial Times, business schools are reporting a rise in demand for customized and open enrollment short-term programs for managers, marking a reversal of a sharp decline that began with the financial crisis in 2008.

FT rankings are based on participants’ and clients’ satisfaction, the diversity of participants and faculty, and the school’s international exposure. The FT ranked a record number of schools this year that are based in the United States and internationally. Click here to see the complete rankings.
