Campaign Chairs Cory and Brooke used pickaxe, shovel, and good humor to prod their classmates to leave their mark at Olin.

Members of the MBA Class of 2013 are leaving their mark on campus, literally.

Donors to the class gift campaign earned the privilege of signing a steel beam that will be used in the construction of the new Knight and Bauer Halls.

Brooke James and Cory Glass chaired the “Leave Your Mark” campaign that raised $9,592 including donations from students, corporate matches, and professors.

Thank you MBA Class of 2013 and Congratulations!

(Professor Nickerson, please note, the critical thinkers used the pickaxe just for you!)

The Senior Class Council recently kicked off its Senior Gift Campaign with a video featuring Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton and students doing the Harlem Shake in the chancellor’s office.

The goal for the campaign, according to 2013 Senior Class President J.R. Davis, is to top 85 percent participation by members of the undergraduate class. Seniors can get more information and find a link to donate by visiting here.

“What’s really great about the Senior Gift Campaign is that there are so many good reasons for seniors to be a part of it and make to a donation,” said Davis. “A large part of our undergraduate experience was made possible through the giving of others. This campaign gives seniors the chance to give back to future generations of students and shape their experience in a positive way.”
