Olin’s Quantitative Finance Club (QFC) recently held their kickoff meeting! The QFC leadership team invited two Senior Analysts from Edward Jones, Jarrod Taylor (member of the CFA Society of St. Louis) and Sean Lou (Wash U alum).
Jarrod and Sean provided students with some helpful tips on taking the CFA exams. Many MS Finance students are planning to sit for the CFA exams in December and June, so their presentation was timely and highly appreciated!
As a result of a successful kickoff meeting, the QFC now has 20+new members. The QFC’s next big event is the annual Chicago trip scheduled for October 17 and 18. Graduate Quantitative students will have the opportunity to visit companies such as Morgan Stanley, TransMarket, and Markit. The Specialized Masters Programs office is delighted to see the QFC off to such a great start!
