I recently had the opportunity to visit China for graduate programs admissions interviews. It was wonderful to meet so many amazing prospective students from this part of the world and learn more about this beautiful country.
I was fortunate to be hosted part of the time by one of our Master of Accounting alumna, Tina Yang (2012), who showed me all that Beijing had to offer.
While my time in Shanghai was brief I did get the chance to meet our WashU representative, Bill Xu, to learn how we can better work together to grow our presence in China.
Work aside, I also squeezed in time to visit the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and the Bund. But what stood out the most to me was the food – delicious! And my chopstick skills have improved exponentially!
