Brewing connections

You’d think the smell of fresh, hot coffee would attract a lot of attention on campus, especially if it’s FREE! That was the idea behind the new “Coffee Connect” launched last semester by the Graduate Programs Office. There’s been a growing turnout for the bi-monthly coffee break in the Frick Forum between classes, but fewer students have taken advantage of the chance to sip a free cup of java and mingle with professors, staff, and other students in Simon Hall. The event location alternates between the Forum and Simon.

As Jackie Carter explains in the video, Coffee Connect is still a new venture…and the organizers hope it will continue to grow and become an event that the whole Olin community looks forward to next semester and beyond.

The final Coffee Connect of the semester was held April 22 in Simon Hall.
