A team led by Joe McDonald, MBA’15, earned first place in the inaugural HealthBio Startup Weekend held in St. Louis February 6-7. McDonald’s team pitched an app called “Watt Runner” that can measure power output when you run. It can calculate the difference in intensity running up hills and give real-time feedback. St. Louis Public Radio reported on the 54 hour-long Startup Weekend event.
