The Tarlton Construction crew building Olin’s new Knight and Bauer Halls has dubbed an innovative new tool “the Taco Stand”.  But this stand doesn’t serve tacos.  Instead, it dishes out a hi-tech menu of engineering and architectural drawings with the latest changes and modifications within hours.  Processing those changes, printing out paper drawings, and delivering them used to cause days of delay on a construction site. Thanks to the new technology, changes in the plans can be communicated from the drawing board to the plumbers, electricians, and other workers directly on the site.  Enjoy this new Hard Hat Talk from our Building Olin series.
