Recently the MBA class of 2017 through one of the school’s clubs held a networking event that reached out to the professional MBA (PMBA) class, too. I have been an advocate for more joint events between the programs for a while now.

From both sides there are great people with common interests and goals that aren’t meeting one another on a regular basis.

Fortunately, the question most of the folks in both of these programs ask in addition to “why?” is to ask, “why not?” This attitude is pervasive here at Olin. People push to change the normal way of doing business for the better, they try new things, and they execute to make it happen. I’m anticipating great relationships with the people in the full time program. It’s another example that distinguishes Olin’s exemplary programs.  Add more great people to our network? Why not?
