Yale ILCC 2nd PlaceA group of our Global Masters of Finance-Yonsei students captured second place in the Yale School of Management Integrated Leadership Case Competition. The team traveled from Seoul, Korea to New Haven, Connecticut for this competition, held April 10-12, 2015 at Yale University.

Congratulations to: Shibo Yu, Huilin Liu, Sim Wei Zhi Martin, Yuan Hou. Team Olin was up against MBA students from 14 top schools from the US including Carnegie Mellon Tepper, UC Berkeley Hass and Yale SOM and from around the world (e.g. HKUST and Renmin University). The team sent this message:

“On the first day of competition, we were given seven hours to solve a raw business case, and prepare a 20 minute presentation. We faithfully executed our game plan and presented in front of two judges (e.g. a consultant and a Yale Faculty). With seven hours of hard work and good luck, we successfully broke into the final round and were against UC Berkeley and HKUST. In the final presentation, we presented a proposed growth strategy from multifaceted perspectives and claimed 2nd place.”
