Alumna is tops in brand innovation

We just received the following press release regarding our outstanding Olin MBA alumna Nikki Mamuric (class of 2007).  Congrats to Nikki and to her husband and classmate J.P. who also works at L’Oreal in finance.  Here is the release:

Nikki Mamuric, MBA ’07, was recently honored with Brand Innovators ‘40 Under 40 East’ Class of 2014. The prestigious award recognized 40 of the most innovative brand marketers under 40 years old working East of the Mississippi. Brand Innovators searched the country for client-side rock stars who are not only innovating within their organizations but also progressing positive change for the industry overall.

Mamuric was chosen for her successful track record of game-changing marketing, disruptive innovation and breakthrough business results on >20 consumer brands.

Mamuric is Director of Marketing at L’Oreal, the world’s #1 Beauty company synonymous with innovation and scientific advancement in more than 130 countries worldwide.  She currently drives trend-inspired innovation and envisions future Skin Care products for L’Oreal Paris, the company’s flagship brand.

Previously, she worked in Global Innovation at Church & Dwight, a leading CPG company that has outpaced the S&P by more than 2X over the last 10 years & was named one of the “Hottest Growth Companies” by Business Week.  She pioneered new-to-the world strategic thinking on consumer segmentation, equity stretch opportunities and whitespace expansion, which helped drive record growth for their largest SBU, via iconic brands like Arm & Hammer and OxiClean. Prior to Church & Dwight, Mamuric worked at Procter & Gamble, where she brought Beauty into the Oral Care space with the IRI Pacesetter launch of Crest 3D White and led marketing efforts for Fekkai, Oral-B and Folgers.  At the beginning of her career, she served as a political strategist and entrepreneur. She holds an MBA from Washington University and a BA from Maryville University, both in St. Louis, and currently resides in NYC.
